Athens, 19th April 2010
The Greek police have achieved a major breakthrough with the arrest of six people whom they believe are the key suspects of having been part of the nation’s notorious military guerilla group. The main area of operation of these groups is the bomb explosion. This is one of the key breakthroughs against the group after the devastating riots that rocked the city of Athens in 2008.

As per the statement of the key spokesman kokkalakis, the people that have been arrested will be dealt with stern action. They will have to approach a prosecutor for further action. The police have got evidence to a much larger degree than expected at the houses of the two people in the group. The police have recovered certain pamphlets in the form of hard disk that tells about the revolutionary struggle. Apart from this, the police have also found certain diaries that contain handwritten statements that remind of the past attacks and the attacks that are yet to be framed now.
As per the earlier media reports, the earlier arrest were made of seven people but the police later confirmed that it was six.In the major raids in the homes of the suspects, the police have recovered so far no explosives. These major raids have caused a high degree of irritation to many members of the left party. As many as sixty of the members of the leftist party have in open streets against the police of central Athens on this issue.
